Bitpay Review
BitPay was founded in 2011 and therefore one of the first cryptocurrency payment gateways to provide Bitcoin checkout services to customers. The payment company is incorporated in the United States and holds Money Transmitter Licenses (MTL) in 15 US states. The company started as a Bitcoin payment processor for online merchants but gradually added payment solutions for individuals to the product pipeline.
BitPay today offers crypto wallet solutions to individuals and merchant checkout solutions to businesses. Products for individuals are the BigPay Card which is a prepaid Mastercard®, a wallet app and a browser extension to spend cryptocurrencies directly while surfing the internet. For companies BitPay provides a crypto payment merchant solution to accept Bitcoin on websites, invoice clients by email and to pay out Bitcoin to third parties.
